A woman who was about to be beheaded for the death of a young man nine years ago was pardoned at the last minute by the father of her victim Tuesday. The woman, who is in her fifties, is now expected to be released from prison after nine years' internment. An official from a local charity said that individual efforts had led to the father of the victim pardoning the woman after he had refused millions of riyals.
