Mexico's Club America notched its second victory over Italian opposition in pre-season action with a 2-1 win against AC Milan in the United States on Wednesday. A fine glancing header from Daniel Marquez six minutes from time broke a 1-1 deadlock and gave the ten-time Mexican champion victory at the Georgia Dome. After its victory on penalties against Inter Milan on Sunday, Club America looked sharper than Leonard's Milan side which has just returned to full training. The Mexicans took the lead in the 55th minute through Enrique Esqueda, who made a fine run to lose Milan's American defender Oguchi Onyewu, then latched on to a deft through-ball from Salvador Cabanas before smartly turning it home. Ten minutes later Filippo Inzaghi equalized for Milan with a characteristic strike, sneaking on to a ball down the middle and guiding it into the net before Marquez's sealer. Milan plays Chelsea, led by its former coach Carlo Ancelotti, on Friday and then finish its tour with a derby meeting against Inter Milan on Sunday. Inter reaches deal with Eto'o A news agency says Inter Milan has reached a deal to sign Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o. The ANSA news agency said Thursday that the player's agent, Josep Maria Mesalles, made the announcement after talks with officials from the Serie A champion. No other details were available and Inter did not immediately confirm the report. The two teams have been trying to work out a swap deal to send Eto'o to Inter and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona. Barcelona at Wembley European champion Barcelona return to the scene of one of the greatest triumphs this weekend as the Spanish giant takes part in a four-team pre-season tournament at Wembley Stadium. Just three months after being crowned king of Europe for the third time, it is fitting that Pep Guardiola's star-studded squad is back at the English national stadium, where Barca first won the European Cup back in 1992. The two-day pre-season competition consists of four matches to be played across Friday and Sunday. On Friday, Al-Ahly takes on Celtic before Barca's clash with Tottenham. The second set of matches will be played on Sunday, with Al-Ahly facing Barcelona before a battle of Britain between Tottenham and Celtic. The winner of the tournament will be decided on a combined points and goals scored system.
