The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sudan signed an agreement here Tuesday according to which Saudi Arabia supports developmental and humanitarian projects amounting to SR70 million in Darfur. Fayez Al-Ahmadi, Deputy President of the Saudi Red Crescent signed for his country while Hassabu Mohammed Abdulrahman, General Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, signed for Sudan. Al-Ahmadi said the money will be used to establish 21 water stations, 21 health units, and operate nine others in Darfur in addition to emergency food support.
