ADCB, one of the UAE's leading banks, and Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the region, have announced their signing of a major data center services deal.
Under the terms of the agreement, Injazat will provide ADCB with a secure and reliable environment for all of ADCB's mission-critical IT infrastructure and systems through its new Abu Dhabi-based Tier IV Data Center, the first certified commercially-available facility of its kind in the region. ADCB infrastructure and services will now benefit from the data center's fully-redundant facilities with 24/7 onsite security and technical support.
Ala'a Eraiqat, CEO, ADCB, said: “ADCB decided to partner with Injazat because of its expertise in providing unrivalled state-of-the-art data centre facilities. It was imperative that we choose a partner with the know-how and necessary infrastructure to proactively manage our critical IT infrastructure on a 24/7 high availability basis. We are confident this agreement will prove strategic and beneficial to our business operations in the region”.
“Injazat is honored to earn this important contract from a financial institution with the reach and stature of ADCB. We are committed to delivering services to the highest standards out of our Premier Tier IV data centre, supporting ADCB in its endeavor to provide highly available customer-centric services” said Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, CEO, Injazat Data Systems.
“This contract marks a significant milestone in the growth of the regional financial services IT industry and speaks for the confidence and trust that ADCB has in our world-class services. This also furthers our vision of supporting regional private and public organizations, adding value to their services, and achieving high Return on Investment (ROI) on their IT systems and infrastructures,” Lari added.
Lee North, SVP & head of IT, ADCB, said “ADCB has always invested in the best of technology and infrastructure and we wanted the best facilities to host these. Injazat owns the only Tier IV rated data center in the region, which is best equipped to house our IT infrastructure. We were very impressed with their facility and the caliber of their technical and facilities staff.”
Tier IV data centers outperform other data centers by providing up to 99.995 percent availability. They also offer 24/7 security and excellent technical support.
