The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice arrested an Arab expatriate Thursday for using the women's clothes shop where he worked as a center of black arts activity. The man was reported to the authorities after customers noticed strange objects and talismans in the outlet which he is purported to have used to get clients to repay debts, resolve marital differences and protect people from the “evil eye”. Police in nearby Radhwan, meanwhile, continue their investigations into a man in his fifties accused of practicing magic causing people to lose money and undergo changes of character. Locals said they had noticed changes over the last few months in numerous persons related to individuals seen visiting the alleged master of magic.
