The $110 million industrial complex which spreads over 515,000 m² is intended to supply the Syrian market with various construction products. Dr. Faysal Alaquil, director of Business Development and official spokesperson of CPC, described the new industrial complex as a ‘One-stop Shop' that will produce and supply construction products in Syria. He said: When CPC first decided to expand into Syria, it had a vision for the local market. Today, we are inaugurating part of this vision as CPC Syria launches its industrial complex which embraces most of the CPC Holding activities.' On an operational level, Dr. Alaquil added that “this project will secure the needs of the Syrian market in terms of construction products and that on a large scale. In fact, the precast concrete plant will be implementing several major projects in Syria and that is only the beginning.” CPC Holding has made sure to meet all international quality and environmental standards in the design and implementation of the industrial complex by investing in state-of-the-art technologies that are environmentally friendly and drastically reduce the consumption of energy. Dr. Alaquil also said that CPC - Syria has become in a record time the key partner of the biggest projects in Damascus. “We have been able to attain our objective to become a one-stop shop towards building the future by providing the real estate market with premium raw construction material at highly competitive prices,” he said. “Today with the inauguration of the CPC Industrial Complex in Adra, the company reaffirms its direct contribution to the economic cycle and social well being in Syria, while being fully committed to the local development and growth as the complex offers major direct and indirect employment opportunities.” Dr. Alaquil further said “we are currently conducting feasibility studies to be able to establish a regional trading network, as we are fully capable of catering to all markets' needs.” “We will also be focusing on the Algerian Market, as CPC is seeking to establish another high-end industrial complex abiding by international standards,” he added.
