A Yemeni died while three others were rescued Tuesday after their car broke down in the desert region of Tayreen, some 45 km to the southeast of Al-Leith. The three Yemenis had entered the Kingdom illegally on Monday with the help of their driver and after 30 hours in the desert resorted to drinking radiator coolant and the fuel from their vehicle in efforts to stay alive. The survivors, who were taken to hospitals in Al-Leith and Jeddah, also reported a fifth individual who had left them to seek help and failed to return. Authorities are still trying to locate the man.
