designate to India Faisal Trad has expressed his appreciation and pride in the Royal trust in appointing him as ambassador, praying to Allah Almighty for success commensurate with the confidence bestowed upon him by the Saudi leadership. In a statement upon arrival in New Delhi on Monday morning to assume his post, he said relations with India have entered a phase of partnership since the historic visit to India by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Ambassador Trad pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India, as members of the Group of Twenty (G20), have been playing an active role in regional and international arenas to enhance security, stability, peace and prosperity. He stressed that relations between the two countries aim at multi-levels of a strategic partnership as these are enriched with economic and political capabilities in addition to the great asset of respect that the two countries enjoy in regional and international arenas.
