Sources have said that the wanted man arrested in Qassim on Tuesday opened fire three times as security forces entered his residence in the Al-Saada district of Buraidah. No injuries were reported to any members of security forces, and the sources said that the detention was conducted without further incident as officials relieved their target of his weapon and other belongings. It was also made known that the premises in which the detention was made belonged to the man's grandfather. The man was described Wednesday as a financer of Al-Qaeda in Yemen in his 30s who engaged in the recruitment for the terrorist organization and facilitated travel to troubled areas abroad. The arrest came a month after the arrest of Saudi national Hasan Hussein Bin Alwan in Yemen, also described by Yemeni authorities as an Al-Qaeda financer in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
