Mustafa A. K. Sabri, secretary general of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), met Rajeev Shahre, the deputy chief of the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, and Sayeed Ahmed Baba, the Indian Consul General, on Monday to make arrangements for an Indian delegation to visit Jeddah this month to meet a number of officials in order to exchange opinions on topics of common interest. The visit comes in the framework of the strong relations between the two countries. In the past an exhibition was held in New Delhi with the participation of 34 Saudi companies and more than 120 companies have participated in the Saudi-Indian Business Council. The two countries have strong economic relations, Sabri said. He also said that India imports more than 26 percent of its oil from the Kingdom the value of which is more than $11 billion.
