King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifah held here Tuesday a tripartite summit to discuss issues related to boosting joint work. The leaders discussed the Palestinian cause, Egyptian efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation and the peace process in the region. They stressed the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Also discussed were developments in the Arab, Islamic and international arenas and ways of enhancing all-round cooperation. Mubarak held a luncheon at the Conference Center here in honor of King Abdullah who arrived earlier in the day and left for Saudi Arabia after the tripartite summit.-
