Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, on Sunday signed a number of contracts for construction and renovation of some mosques at Miqats (Haj and Umrah starting points) and their attached facilities. The total cost of the contracts signed with a number of national establishments and companies amounts to about SR266 million. These contracts come within the framework of the great attention being given by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz for the service of Haj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque. Meanwhile, Muslim World League Secretary General Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki will participate in the 3rd conference of leaders of followers of monotheistic religions in Astana, Kazakhstan from Monday.
