Finally, the long wait is over for Ericsson team keglers when they dominated top contenders during the final day of the competition by bagging the Monday Family Bowling League, 3rd Conference. The league was organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR) and supported by the ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC). Ericsson team, mentored by Emil Rances, went home with a cash prize of SRy7,000, a team trophy and individual trophies. The team members: Rocky Manipon Ric Tugonon, Arnold Marchan, Padi Padilla, Pogie Dionisio, Loel Soriano, Arnel dela Cruz and Ellen Bernabe. Stesa-Thales, captained by Boni Manalang, secured the second place and won a cash prize of SR3,500, team trophy and individual trophies. Team: Atoy Malubay, Ruben Babasa, Dante Cambare, Zaldy Torres, Nelson de Vera, Blessy Babasa, Abe Abulencia and Prima Abulencia. Securing the third place were the keglers of Fathi Bowlers, managed by Fathi Abdulaziz. A cash prize of SR2,000, team trophy and individual trophies was awarded to Fathi Bowlers. Team: Edgar Buenaventura, Wilson Bacala, Saju, Richard Feria, Andro Tismo, Abdullah Amoudi, Rina Pascual and Cecille Solomon. Genesis team of Rizal landed in fourth place and was awarded a cash prize of SR1,500 plus team trophy. Landing in fifth place was the Al-Jeathen Trading Group of Onar Garcia. In the battle of Top 30 elite players, Willy Jadulos of Genesis team bagged the title. Jadulos won a cash prize of SR1,000 plus trophy. The 1st and 2nd runners-up were Ronald Bautista and Gigi Enriquez who received a cash prize of SR500 and SR250 plus trophies, respectively. In the Clash of Royal C&D competition, Reynald Medina finished ahead and took a cash prize of SR1,000 and trophy. Fahad Al-Haza secured the second place and won a cash prize of SR500 and trophywhile the second runner-up was Jove Marano who received a cash prize of SR250 and trophy. Individual awards: High game scratch and handicap – Marvin Arocena, high series scratch and handicap – Ronald Bautista.
