A Saudi national suffered minor injuries on Thursday when he was accidentally grazed by a bullet in Beirut's Fardan area in the midst of celebrations over the reelection of Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri. Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Ali Asiri said Nawwaf Al-Anqari was slightly injured in the shoulder by a stray bullet while at a café in the area and was taken to the American University Hospital in the city. Asiri said the bullet did not penetrate Al-Anqari's shoulder but “merely grazed the skin”. Amal Movement leader Berri was elected to the post by the Lebanese Parliament for the fifth time on Thursday.
