Police in the province of Al-Jouf arrested a man after opening fire on a number of people at two different sites Tuesday. The man, who was held after a raid on his home in the district of Al-Mataar where police found firearms and ammunition, reportedly first opened fire from his car on another vehicle carrying several passengers without causing injury, and then repeated the action at another location shortly after. Another resident of Al-Qariyat was shot in the leg the same day while in the courtyard of his home. The bullet came from an unknown direction, according to police reports, but then the injured man has reportedly identified a possible suspect who is currently under investigation.
