Through his eagerness to succeed - or having left his revision to the last minute - a final year secondary school pupil in the east of Taif nearly missed an end-of-year examination by falling asleep in his car following a night of prolonged study. A member of the school's teaching staff noticed the pupil's absence as the examination was due to begin, and after failing to contact him via his mobile telephone or his home number elected to conduct a search of the school premises, where he found him asleep in his car parked by the main gate.
