On the 3rd week of action of the Western Union-Riyadh Monday Family Bowling League, Ericsson, Ronald Bautista and Rina Labo rocked lanes to emerge as the week's best team, best male and female awardees. The league is sponsored by Wester Union-Riyadh and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR). Also supporting the tilt is the ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC). It was the heroics of southpaw Ronald Bautista that helped Ericsson capture the Team of the Week award by posting 15 points against Stesa-Thales' 4 points. Unstoppable Bautista shot a towering four-game series scratch of 930. He had on lines of 226, 224, 222 and a game high of 258. For his feat, a personalized FBGR jacket will be awarded to Bautista by entering the 250 club member and being the conference current individual high series scratch and handicap holder. Padi Padilla, Ellen Bernabe and Arnold Marchan supported Bautista by contributing separate series of 776, 678 and 666. Emil Rances added 453 series in three games while Ric Tugonon had 177 in one game. Lefty Edwin Nunez posted 749 points to lead in Stesa-Thales and he was followed by captain Boni Manalang (657) and Prima Abulencia (607). Ruben Babasa, Abe Abulencia, Dante Cambare and Zaldy Torres chipped in separate series of 370, 354, 345 and 306 in two games. ABB Tribe collected 14 points against the bye team and having the best score were Glenn Espiritu and Ariel Feliciano. Espiritu, who converted 11 strikes in a row for a possible perfect score of 300 rolled a game high of 283 while Feliciano had a game high of 222. Larry “papalicious” Baleros dazzled by carding 749 points and he was followed by Beth Danganan with 695 points. Mel Solas sealed 749 points. FBGR-Western Union 2 clobbered FBGR-Western Union 1, 14-5. Topscoring in FBGR-WU 2 were Gigi Enriquez (755) and Edith Hatcha (733). Bert Lopez and Ferdie Ramos came next by pouring 583 and 536. Leading scorers in FBGR-WU 1 were Jun Bantug (742) and Chito Llagas (702). Mae Austria and Leo Mabunga had 516 and 502 while Jerry Austria and Noli Ritual submitted 465 and 314. League leaders Ala Eh Bowlers continued their winning streak to record another impressive victory against Genesis, 13-7. D'Rockers dismantled Schneider-Electric, 9-3. Wilson Bacala lifted Fathi Bowlers to humble Lane Master, 13-8. Southpaw Arnold Quindara, sweet-shooting Luz Molina and Ala Eh Bowlers captured the best male and female bowler of the week and team of the week awards in the second week. Class C Quindara and equipped with ten handicaps per game carded 811 points on lines of 180, 213, 179 and 199 to emerge as the week's best male bowler of the week. It helped the Ala Eh Bowlers to capture the Team of the Week awards by nipping Stesa-Thales, 13-9. At the center stage in D'Rockers was the Female Bowler of the Week Luz Molina who carded a series of 738.
