The Shoura (Consultative) Council on Monday approved by a majority vote the annual report of the Saudi Arabian Agriculture Bank for the fiscal year 1426-27 Hijra. The Shoura Council session was presided over by its Vice-Chairman Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammed Hajjar. The Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said approving the annual report of the Saudi Arabian Agriculture Bank the Council recommend that all annual reports must be prepared in compliance with Article 29 of Cabinet System and that the bank must submit reports of all its final accounts. Dr. Al-Ghamdi added that the Council also approved by majority vote the annual report of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation for the fiscal year 1427-28 Hijra. After closely reviewing the report, the Council recommended that a number of requirements must be met including enhancing the operating capacity of SWCC's co-generation for water and electricity. The Council also stressed the importance of finishing the water pipes project. He added that the Council also took a majority vote in favor of the annual report of the Saudi Commission for Medical Specializations for the fiscal year 1427-28 Hijra. The Council also approved by majority vote the draft for the GCC's Criminal Center basic law for drugs prevention.
