The Prisons Department in Asir ordered a man Sunday to return to prison and complete his sentence after he was mistakenly released as part of a group given a Royal pardon one year ago. Sa'ad Al-Qahtani, who had been serving time for drug smuggling, protested the ruling, saying he had served eight years and memorized 20 sections of the Holy Qur'an. “This, in addition to good behavior, made me eligible to be included in the list of pardoned persons,” Al-Qahtani said.
