Police were alerted after bystanders observed a woman hanging on to the back of a bus heading to Jeddah in an apparent attempt by her to flee her sponsor. According to police the woman, a housemaid, had previously attempted to purchase a ticket but could not to due to her inability to provide official identity papers.
