Four hundred and fifty graduates in real estate profession will be honored at a function being organized by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) here on Monday. The function is being organized under the patronage of Prince Misha'l Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah. The training program was launched two years ago by the Center for Advanced Studies and Training. “This is the first batch, which includes more than 450 professionals who have succeeded in passing the program “independent real estate valuation,” said Saeed Al-Ahmari deputy president of the real estate committee at JCCI and president of the valuation committee. “This will help participants obtain factual information on prices in the Saudi real estate market and the discovery of what they want to access to in the real estate market,” he said. In addition, the courses they have taken will help them increase the capacity and the development of skills and sensitivity to matters of real estate. It also helps to achieve greater personal achievement and to improve capacity. “Their certificates are accredited by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training,” he informed. There were a number of things included in the program to understand the principles of architect and construction in the real estate valuation; information and control of legal affairs of the real estate contracts as well as the art and skill of the work, professional reports and review of property, and effective communication skills to deal with customers. Al-Ahmari said that the idea was launched more than two years ago and the JCCI sent the idea to the Ministry of Commerce for adoption. The Saudi real estate market has a very important role in the Kingdom's economy, it comes second with 13% of the national growth after oil and participating in more than 90 sectors, including the latest building materials, construction, engineering offices and other market.
