The Saudi Geological Survey reported that the seismic activity in Harrat Al-Shaqa has been in decline in numbers and strength, noting that national network stations for monitoring seismic tremors have recorded a few tremors, the maximum one 2.5 degrees on the Richter scale, since Friday noon. In a statement on Saturday, the SGS said that all changes in terms of thermal measurements and concentrations of radon gas, carbon dioxide and widening cracks in the ground have been satisfactory.
