Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian Services City has won the Award of Best Design for Hospitals and Health Facilities in the Middle East from the Conference and Exhibition of Hospital Building and Technology in the Middle East held in Dubai on June 14-16. The City has won an international certificate of excellence for its application of best standards of medical management and health services strategies. Prince Faisal bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Charitable Foundation pointed out that this qualitative achievement came as a result of the care and patronage provided to the foundation by Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also the foundation's Supreme Chairman, as well as his distinguished initiatives in several areas for providing social welfare and health care and his unprecedented support for the provision of the best medical care in the Kingdom comparable to the best health services available in the West. He noted that this international recognition shows one important aspect of the Humanitarian Services City which has been equipped according to the highest world standards, adding that the City has provided outstanding services to more than 200,000 patients since its establishment.
