Cars and other vehicles wait to travel through the city's busiest rail crossing due to heavy traffic in Dhaka Friday. Bangladesh is to go ahead with a $1.23 billion elevated expressway project to ease the notorious traffic congestion, Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said.
