Princes, emirs, governors, ministers, officials, common citizens and expats joined in praise for King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as the Kingdom celebrated Friday the 4th anniversary of the pledge of allegiance, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). King Abdullah, who ascended the throne on 26/6/1426H, was called a man of vision, a role model, a statesman, a man of stature. The King's initiative to keep a sustained economic growth even in the time of global meltdown, his support for educational developments, the launching of mega city projects, judicial reforms, inter-faith dialogue, support for Arab issues, mideast peace initiative, his backing for the Ummah, stability and security, care for the guests of Allah, development of Holy Cities, women rights initiative, and launching of the anti-graft commission were some of the major achievements listed by Saudi commentators. Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, described King Abdullah as a leader of great achievements. Speaking to the Saudi first TV Channel, Prince Naif said King Abdullah assumed office at a critical time, but by virtue of his foresight and wisdom he overcame all difficulties and took the Kingdom to new heights. He said not only the Kingdom but the entire world speaks about the King's achievements at the regional and global levels. Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh Region, affirmed that Saudi Arabia's achievements at various levels since the ascension to the throne by King Abdullah have been a source of pride for all citizens, emphasizing that these achievements emanate from the King's keenness on sensing the needs of citizens. Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz, Acting Emir of Riyadh Region, stressed that the Kingdom's achievements over the past four years give pleasure to all citizens and motivate them to re-dedicate themselves in the service of the nation. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, commended the King for his keenness on the principle of dialogue as one of the major pillars of the Kingdom's foreign policy. Prince Saud said that there were many examples of the principle of dialogue pursued by King Abdullah in his foreign policy, including the dialogue between Palestinian factions and calling for dialogue between different Iraqi sects, strata and ethnic groups. Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Aal Al-Sheikh sited the launching of judiciary system, grievances court among other judicial reforms brought about by the King. Minister of Education Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah said praised the King's efforts for education reforms. __
