Oleyan, Director General of Channel-1 of the Saudi TV said Monday that there will be new news telecasting timings on the occasion of the fourth anniversary for the ascendance to the throne by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The noon bulletin, he said, will be at 3.30 P.M. instead of 3 P.M., while the evening bulletin will be at 6:30 P.M. instead of 6 P.M. The main bulletin will be at 9.30 P.M. instead of 9 P.M., and the last bulletin will be at 12.30 A.M. instead of 12 midnight. He disclosed that the emblem of the news and bulletins will be changed to match the current media development in a manner that attracts the viewers. Al-Oleyan pointed out that works are under way to develop the contents of the news bulletins.
