On behalf of Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Bin Saeed Awwad Asiri on Sunday laid the foundation stones of the projects of the mosque of the late King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud in Mansehra city and the mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques late King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Asiri commended the depth of brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Pakistani government and people. He also expressed thanks to Prince Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of the Interior, for his great attention, care and follow-up of the assistance provided to victims of the earthquake which struck Pakistan in October 2005 and his generous gesture to build the two mosques at his own expense. Held in the headquarters of the Saudi embassy here, the ceremony of laying the foundation stones of the two mosques was attended by a number of Saudi and Pakistani officials.
