Gosaibi, Minister of Labor, will patronize Saudi Hospitality Day at the Red Sea Mall on Tuesday with the participation of Mohammed Abdul Qader Al-Fadl, Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber for Commerce and Industry and JCCI hospitality commission members. More than 250 investors in the hotel and restaurant sector will participate in the event aiming to change the view of the average young Saudi about working as a waiter. “There are more than 5,000 jobs for Saudis in the hospitality sector, and we are aiming to change the views of Saudi youth about food service jobs. This is a major concern of the Ministry of Labor and JCCI,” said Essam Hussain Mla'eka, assistant head of the JCCI Hospitality Commission. “We are planning to meet with young Saudis and advise them to demonstrate their ability to work in all fields. The minister will present an honorary host award to motivate young people to opt for careers in the hospitality industry,” said Mla'eka.
