Police are investigating three young males who reportedly attacked an Indian truck driver by striking him on the head with a fire extinguisher and attempting to rob him. The Indian resident worker told police he had parked his vehicle close to a commercial center in Taima and gone to sleep in the cabin, only to be awoken by three teenagers tapping on the window. When he opened the cabin door one of the three immediately struck him with the extinguisher and sprayed foam in his face. The driver told police, who managed to identify the teenagers soon after the incident and hand them over to the Commission for Investigation and Prosecution, that his attackers were unable to find his money which he had hidden away shortly prior to the incident.
