The Saudi Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf recently honored the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for sponsoring the seventeenth annual meeting of the Saudi Economic Association, which was held recently under the title “The Gulf Economic Integration: The Reality and Hopes”. The event was held in the presence of Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman, Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the honorary president of the Saudi Economic Association; and Dr. Fahd Albadi, chairman of board of the association. A large number of economists and businessmen also attended and participated in the discussions of the forum. Dr. Said Al-Shaikh, senior vice president and chief economist of the bank, said the bank's participation and sponsorship of the Gulf Economic Integration forum reflects the vision of the bank in supporting the national economy through promoting major economic events that aim to raise awareness of issues related to the business and finance world.
