Virender Sehwag was at his explosive best as Delhi Daredevils stormed to second straight victory by blowing away Deccan Chargers at their own den Tuesday. Sehwag clubbed his way to a 41-ball 94 as Delhi Daredevils raced to a comfortable nine-wicket win in just 13 overs. For the second straight match Deccan Chargers' skipper V.V.S. Laxman and the Australian master blasters Adam Gilchrist and Andrew Symonds disappointed the cricket fans. After choosing to bat Deccan Chargers succumbed to the accurate Pakistan Mohammed Asif and Sri Lanka's Mahroof who claimed two wickets each. However, the hosts were saved by an emerging Indian star Rohit Sharma who cracked 66 from 36 balls which helped them post 142. True to their name the Delhi batsmen romped home winners in no time. After the exit of Gautam Gambhir early, it was a one-man show at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. “Veeru” cut loose and rained fours (10) and sixes (4) to finish the match in 13 overs. On Wednesday, Chennai super Kings will take on Mumbai Indians in Chennai.
