Bahrain Air has opened on Wednesday a new sales office at Nakheel center, Madina Road, Jeddah under the umbrella of its new GSA M/S Elaf Aviation as it expands in the Western region of Saudi Arabia. Currently Bahrain Air operates three weekly flights from Jeddah, which will be expanded to a daily service later this year, Ibrahim A. AlHamer, managing director of Bahrain Air said at the opening attended by industry executives. Bahrain Air also unveiled plans to operate in Riyadh “very soon”. Bahrain Air major destinations are Jeddah, Kozhikode (Calicutt), Kochi in India, Dubai, Kathmandu, Aleppo, Alexandria, Beirut and Abu Dhabi. Mumbai will be added starting in July this year. Plans to fly to Dhaka, Chittagong, Karachi, Lahore and Addis Ababa are in the pipeline. Elaf Group of companies President and CEO Ziyed Bim Mahfouz, Deputy CEO Tarik Nabulsi, general manager Majed S. Kaki, GSA manager Nasir Khan and Bahrain Air Country Manager Ibraham Cherian took part in the ceremony.
