David Haye has pulled out of his world heavyweight title fight with IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko because of an injury. The British fighter had been scheduled to challenge Klitschko before a sellout crowd of more than 60,000 at Schalke's football stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on June 20. Haye's camp said Wednesday he sustained an injury in training and had to pull out. The nature of the injury was not immediately known. Haye is 22-1. Klitschko is 52-3. Over 40,000 tickets had already been sold with Klitschko proving to be hugely popular in Germany. Haye, who became undisputed cruiserweight champion last year, had irritated the Ukrainian at a joint news conference in April with a t-shirt depicting himself holding the heads of Klitschko and his brother Vitali, the WBC heavyweight champion, and began firing insults at Klitschko.
