Ahmad Hariri (standard seated category), Majed Al-Qathmey (freestyle, stand-up) and Faisal Al-Qathmey (freestyle, seated) cornered glory in the Red Bull Qaher Al-Amwaj (wave breakers) Jet ski competition at the Gulf of Obhur here. This championship was one of the best in marine sport in Saudi Arabia to be held under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Maritime Sports Federation with the collaboration of Al-Ahlam Maritime Tourism Group. The event provided the fans of marine sport a fantastic experience at Marsa Al-Ahlam,starting point for the launching the Red Bull Qaher Al-Amwaj jet ski competition. The venue was a natural choice and the event saw more than 30 participants in action . The Gulf of Obhur and Marsa Al-Ahlam have strong infrastructures which made it capable of hosting big marine competitions which attracted a good number of spectators. It was proved during the successful hosting of world speed boats racing (Formula 2000) during the Obhur tourist festival. The competition was consisted of three categories – freestyle racing (stand-up), standard seated and freestyle (seated). In addition to the championship trophy, each champion was awarded an intensive training course in jet ski supervised by experts and well known champs of this sport . An acrobatic show performed by jet ski world champs were were the added attraction for the spectators. The Middle East champion Rashid Al-Tayer of the UAE also gave training in this sport for all the participants. Results: Seated category (unmodified): Ahmad Hariri, Jamal Abdul Nasser Balhamed and Majed Maghrabi. Freestyle racing (stand-up): Majed Al-Qathmey, Waleed Qari and Bander Qari. Freestyle (seated): Faisal Al-Qathmey, Mohannad Bazhaid and Majdi Abdul Majeed. __
