Zaigham Uddin Azam, Consul General of Pakistan, called on Prof. Waleed H. Abdulfaraz, Rector of Umm Al-Qura University, here Saturday. They discussed matters relating to cooperation in the field of education. Prof. Abdulfaraz showed interests in collaboration between the Higher Education Commissions of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He welcomed the induction of Pakistani religious scholars at Umm Al-Qura University provided they meet requisite standard of the university. The Saudi side also requested for making arrangements for undertaking a proper recruitment drive in Pakistan public sector universities, a press release issued by the Consulate General of Pakistan said.
