The father of an elementary school fourth-grade girl has filed a complaint with the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) alleging the abusive behavior of the school principal, a teacher and a supervisor. The three, the complaint said, isolated the girl in a room, forced her to sign some papers and put psychological pressure on her through interrogating her on some irrelevant issues. Areej Ibrahim Dahbash's father said he has filed the complaint against the three after he gave up hope of receiving a response from the Ministry of Education. He said his 10-year-old daughter, a student at Hakimat Abu Oraish School was “detained in a room in the school without water or food. She was not even allowed to use the bathroom.”
