Authorities beheaded a Saudi man Friday after he was convicted of murdering a boy and then the boy's father, an Interior Ministry statement said. The man, Ahmad Al-Inizi, was convicted of kidnapping a young Saudi boy Muhammad Al-Khidairi, 11, and detaining him with “a malicious intention” at the grocery store where he worked, after which he strangled the boy to death with a rope. When the boy's father came inside the store to look for his son, Al-Inizi hit him on the head with an axe, leaving him lying in a pool of blood and then locked the door leaving both the boy and his father inside. Al-Inizi resisted arrest when the police finally found him, and it was later discovered that he was wanted for other crimes that he had committed. Al-Inizi was not buried immediately, but his body was put on public display until late Friday evening.
