King Saud University has received the World Summit Award for Electronic Education 2009. Ali Saeed Al-Ghamdi, University Vice Rector for Knowledge Exchange Affairs and Technology Transfer, received the award on Monday at the opening Ceremony of Bahrain International Forum for e-government 2009. The forum was attended by Mohamad Al-Mubarak, Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Supreme Commission of Information Technology and Communications and figures from the United Nations and other countries.
