Humayyen, President of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a), has revealed plans to place cameras in shopping centers to assist the Hai'a in its work. “The Hai'a is planning to work with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to put cameras in all shopping centers in the Kingdom to monitor errors committed by some youth in these places,” Al-Humayyen said Tuesday. Al-Humayyen said the move, which has received the backing of a study conducted by the King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, would be officially announced next week.
