A committee consisting of officials from the Health and Civil Service Ministries is studying how to apply the new job descriptions approved recently by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The committee has been tasked with organizing the salaries of all the freshly appointed workers in private hospitals, medical cities and military hospitals, said Dr. Khalid Marghlani, spokesman for the Health Ministry. He explained that these new job descriptions are going to be used to channel and control salary bonuses and to allocate accommodation and medical insurance allowances. He said that the current workers' salaries will not change according to the new stipulations. Sources said that the new job descriptions will be applied very soon and then doctors will receive SR50,000 as a housing allowance and other allowances will be given to workers according to their qualifications.
