The wife of King Abdullah, Princess Hissa Al-Shalan, will patronize today the graduation ceremony of 755 female technical training students from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). The deputy governor for Girls Technical Training at the TVTC, Munira Al-Alola, said that 418 graduates had qualified in technical support and 332 in accounting. Al-Alola said in a press conference that she expected the number of graduates of girls' technical institutes to reach 78,000 within seven years, following the opening of 39 facilities around the Kingdom. Al-Alola said the TVTC was in contact with the Civil Service on the subject of the new graduates' employment, adding that offers of employment had already been received from some quarters. Thirty-two graduates are expected to be appointed to technical institutes.
