After eight years of hearings the Cassation Court in Riyadh has ruled in favor of 24 retired Arabian Oil Company employees and ordered that Saudi Aramco pay their pensions. The 24 were employees of the Arabian Oil Company until 1997, when they took early retirement, and according to lawyer Sultan Al-Harbi received their pensions up until 2002, when the Arabian Oil Company withdrew from Saudi Arabia and passed on its employees to what became Aramco. Aramco then stopped paying the pensions. “Because the company was a government-owned corporation, permission was given by the King to take the case to court,” Al
