Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said Tuesday that Al-Qaeda sleeper cells still existed in the Kingdom and that they would be dealt with by the security forces. “They adapt according to circumstances and might change their methods, but the target is the same,” Prince Naif said. “We will awake these cells just as we have done others.” Prince Naif said that Saudi security authorities have successfully defeated the deviant group. “Thanks to Allah Almighty, we have attained great success in this respect,” he said. Prince Naif also spoke on the issue of Guantanamo detainees. “We are proceeding ahead with these issues and we hope it will not take long,” he said.
