Prince Misha'l Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah region, inaugurated a healthcare exhibition under the theme “Paradigm shift in Healthcare” Monday night at Al-Harthy International Exhibition Center. The four-day expo is being patronized by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and jointly organized by the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events, the International Medical Center (IMC), Al-Harthy Company for Exhibitions Ltd., Health Affairs Management in Makkah region, and the faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University. More than 140 local and international companies, businessmen, and investors are participating in the event. The event aims at discussing current challenges facing the healthcare sector and at devising an effective strategy for the provision of integrated healthcare services to the masses. Apart from the expo, the International Medical Center also organized an awards giving ceremony. The award for Excellence in Clinical Outcomes was given to Dr. Jameela Gary, with the recognition of the efforts of Dr. Mohammad Al-Sayed in this field; excellence in nursing to Dr. Hasna Banjar; and Dr. Sawsan Al-Majaly in nursing education; and for excellence in community Services to Al-Eman society for their efforts in caring for cancer patients.
