A workshop on dengue fever, organized by Jeddah Health Affairs Management in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministry of Health and a number of Saudi universities was held here on Sunday. The workshop was aimed at creating awareness on dengue fever and to help devise a strategy against the disease. “We are aiming to enhance the national program to resist dengue fever, to develop workers' skills and to educate them on the various aspects of dengue,” said Dr. Sami Badawood, Director of Health Affairs Management. He said that paramedics who took part in the workshop would be able to use latest techniques to check dengue fever. Several experts from different public and private sector organizations participated in the workshop.
