Al-Hazm shocks Al-Nasr
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 04 - 2008

Hazm of Al-Rass collected its first three points after stunning its host Al-Nasr 3-2 in a first leg match of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
In another encounter, Al-Wehdah of Makkah shared points with host Al-Hilal 0-0.
Atram, the most influential player of Al-Hazm, helped his team score three goals. Although he is a striker, he played in the midfield and produced excellent moves that paved the way for three goals.
The first half of the match ended 2-1 for Al-Hazm. Safawan Al-Muallad put Al-Hazm in the lead in the 28th minute. While Al-Nasr players were pushing forward for an equalizer, Fahd Al-Rasheedi of Al-Hazm succeeded to utilize Atram's long pass to score the second goal.
Al-Nasr's Sa'ad Al-Harthi and the Brazilian Elton started threatening Al-Hazm goalie Mansour Al-Naj'ei. And Elton managed to pull one goal back.
It was a fight between Naj'ei and Al-Nasr in the second half. In the 83rd minute, Rayyan Bilal of Al-Nasr entered the box and earned a penalty.
Sa'ad Al-Harthi put it in Najie's right corner.
In the 43rd minute of the second half, Atram provided the pass for Saber Hawsa to score the winner.
Referee, Mitrif Al-Qahtani, showed Hawsa the red card for removing his shirt. He had earned a yellow card earlier.
At King Fahd International Stadium Al-Hilal and Al-Wehdah drew goalless.
In the absence of Yasser Al-Qahtani, Shalhoub and Tariq Al-Tayeb, substitute Nawaf Timyat, along with the other champions of the Premier League failed to get three points at home. __
