The General Administration for Girls' Education in Makkah is holding next week the first introductory meeting of the “Friends of Asthma Patients” program, the first phase of which will be put into action at all girls' and boys' schools in Makkah, Jeddah and Taif. Doctors and nurses at medical units will be instructed on how the program is to function and its application, while the move also aims to reduce asthma sufferers absences from school and improve school health facilities for them.
