OneCard, the Arab world's largest multi-function secured e-payment services provider, has been named as the “Best Strategic e-Commerce Portal” in the Arab World at the Pan Arab Web Awards held recently at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai. Eng. Muhannad Ebwini, general manager of OneCard, received the award during the function, which also saw OneCard's Chairman Eng. Rashid Al-Ballaa being named as “IT Man of the Year” in recognition of his contributions to the region's IT sector. Launched in 2004 as the first product of its kind in Saudi Arabia, OneCard (www.onecard.net) has emerged as the most comprehensive online payment solution in the Middle East and North Africa. In early 2008 OneCard was certified as an e-payment services provider and currently is regarded as one of the most popular online gaming portals. OneCard's operations presently span the GCC countries, Egypt, the Levant, Iran and North Africa.
