Saudi Arabian Business and Industrial Corporation (Sabic) will on Wednesday celebrate Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Day. The ceremony will be attended by high ranking corporate officials, presidents of Sabic affiliates and some officials from government industrial safety and environment entities. Awards will be presented to Sabic affiliates for excellence in industrial safety. Affiliates which have demonstrated outstanding performance will be honored. Mohammed Al-Mady, Sabic Vice Chairman and CEO, emphasized the great achievements in safety by SABIC affiliates. He congratulated Sabic winning affiliates. He said Sabic relies on a group of strategic pillars to bolster its competitive capabilities and strengthen its leading position among major global petrochemical companies. On top of these pillars, he said, is the need to increase and improve productivity, intensify R&D efforts, develop human resources skills and encourage innovative capabilities.
