The husband of a woman who emerged from a caesarian section procedure with a broken tooth and damage to two others has lodged a complaint against the responsible hospital with Health Affairs in Taif. The complaint made against a private hospital alleges that the damage to the woman's teeth was caused by the incorrect placement of breathing equipment during anaesthetization in advance of the caesarian procedure. The husband of the woman further claims that the doctor responsible tried to cover up the incident, which was only revealed after the man noticed blood coming from his wife's mouth. According to the husband, his wife now is now suffering from a “mental crisis.” The Health Affairs spokesman in Taif acknowledged receipt of the complaint and said that the results of their investigations would be announced at an appropriate time.
